The “KausariFoundation” is led by women who see themselves as caretakers for our earth. As
cosmic people we live in deep connection with our planet. We are members of the
Kichwa people of the Upper Napo, known as the Naporuna people (Kichwa of the
Amazon).

 

In2013 we created a foundation with legal recognition.

 

TheKausari Foundation works to save and preserve the ancestral knowledge and
connection to the remaining jungle, its ecosystems and its people.

 

Wehave not yet forgotten the ancient knowledge that our ancestors left us and we
keep it alive. It is part of our mission to protect what is alive. That which
is still left. We see our task in preserving the last original forests and
their inherent richness and passing it on to our children and future
generations.

 

Ourchoice is to create conscious communities that protect, preserve and
sustainably use the forest and its ecosystems. In this way, we prepare the way
for ourselves and future generations to live in deep connection and harmony
with creation.
